Metallic Nanoparticles in Cancer Therapy explores the innovative use of metallic nanoparticles in cancer therapy. It investigates the production, functionalisation, and medicinal uses of metallic nanoparticles, including iron oxide, gold, and silver, emphasising their potential for targeted drug administration, imaging, and therapy. It also tackles essential regulatory and safety considerations, connecting research with clinical application.

Features:
• Covers specifics to the theranostic application of metallic nanoparticles for cancer treatment.
• Describes therapeutic strategies of nanoparticles in drug administration routes and targeting mechanisms.
• Gives insight about phytochemical and biogenic surface modified metal nanoparticles.
• Discusses bioavailability, and toxicity assessment of metallic nanoparticles

This book is aimed at researchers in metallic nanoparticle, and physicians and regulatory professionals in nanotechnology for precision oncology.

This book covers the complete profile of metal nanoparticles, beginning with their synthesis, characterization, types, applications, and description of therapeutic strategies in drug administration, and targeting mechanisms for cancer cells.
