"LEARN SHORTCUTS Many of the puzzles will seem as though they will take longer than two minutes to solve, but ... there are shortcuts if you can find them!! There are faster ways to solve each problem and dilemma. The Two-Minute Puzzle Book will teach you to look for such loopholes and shortcuts! ENGAGING THEMATIC PUZZLES From Chapter One's "The One and Only" through Chapter Nine's "The Whole Nine Yards", each chapter contains related puzzles to the chapter's theme. For example, in the second chapter, you will find mechanical puzzles with double pieces, riddles about couples, line puzzles and more. There are match puzzles, tangram-related puzzles, paper puzzles, geometric puzzles and mathematical puzzles to tease and occupy all types of puzzlists. Some are asking for intuition but all are two minutes away from a solution"--

This work collects classic and new puzzles and brain teasers, including tangrams, tiles, paper puzzles, geometric and mathematical puzzles, and logic puzzles. The book includes instructions, tips, hints, and answers, plus b&w illustrations and a glossary. Annotation ©2020 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR (protoview.com)

So how long is a two-minute? Many of the puzzles found in here seem to take much longer to solve. Yet, most, if not all, have a shortcut, that presents a faster way to solve it. This is the cause of the Ahh-ha! feeling you get when you solve it quickly. This book includes nine chapters; where each is devoted to the number in the title. We have created, gathered and sorted the puzzles and riddles from all the various fields accordingly. In the second chapter, you can find mechanical puzzles with double pieces, riddles about couples, line puzzles and more! We have match puzzles, tangram related ones, paper puzzles, geometric puzzles and mathematical puzzles. Some are based on pure logic; some are asking for intuition — but all are two minutes away from a solution. As with our previous books, we try to bring a fresh and original look, as most of the puzzles are coming from our heads. Yet, some good all classics are here as well, as we couldn't ignore them. We did try to present them in an original way, by adding our own flavor to it. This book tries to train the brain to see and think creatively. Looking for a bypass, finding a different point of view, rephrasing the question to surface a solution! In a way, this book can sharpen the mind, and help solve real-life problems. It's time to flex your brain!
