This edited volume compiles diverse research studies on second and foreign language teaching and learning. Spanning instructed and non-instructed settings across Cyprus, Greece, Croatia, the Netherlands, and Germany, the chapters employ various theoretical and practical approaches, including mixed-methods research. Key themes include innovative strategies for student engagement, development of grammar, vocabulary, and speaking skills, and the roles of translation and translanguaging. The volume also explores bilingual and multilingual education, intercultural competence, inclusive practices, and ongoing teacher training.
