This is a course for those who have not learnt Norwegian before or those who want to build on existing skills. It assumes no previous knowledge of other languages and the emphasis is placed on communication skills. The course is based on the Council of Europe's Threshhold guidelines on language learning, and its graded structure includes exercise material. The cassette was recorded by native speakers, and both the cassette and the book are available separately.
