Zhengping Li received his B.S. from Hebei University in 1985, M.S. from Shaanxi Normal University in 1991 and Ph.D. from Peking University in 1999. From 2000 to 2002, he conducted his postdoctoral research in Central Research Laboratory of Hitachi Ltd, Tokyo Japan. In 2002, he joined Hebei University as a Professor in analytical chemistry. He had worked in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shaanxi Normal University from 2012 to 2016. Now he is the professor of School of Chemistry and Biological Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing.



Dr. Li got the projects supported by Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University (2005) and Program for Changjiang Scholars and Innovative Research Team in University (2011), and accessed to National Natural Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholar in 2009. He was awarded National Excellent Teachers in 2005, the First Prize (2010), the Second Prize (2018) in Natural Science of HeBei Province and the Second Prize (2021) in Natural Science of Shaanxi Province. His research interests include molecular diagnosis based on genetic analysis, biosensing on micro/nano interface and single-molecule counting and imaging of living cells. He has authored or co-authored more than 200 peer-reviewed articles.
