A joyful picture-book exploration of language and how many ways there are to say 'mum'.

Celebrate mums all over the world in this moving love letter to family bonds and heritage. A stunning tribute to multilingualism, immigration and connecting communities from the creators of My Mother's Tongues.

Amma is a word the child uses for her Indian-American mum. But Angelina, whose family is from Mexico City, calls her mother Mamá. Theas mother is Greek and known as Mana. Franciscos family is from Brazil, where mums answer to Mãe. Aliya is fluent in Arabic, whose word for mother is Umma.
