This guide is designed to serve as a handy reference for practitioners, a study tool for students and a companion to the field's "bible", "Merril's Atlas", for both. It contains 121 of the most commonly requested and used radiographic procedures. Each card page carries a photograph of the procedure and a concise explanation summarizing the patient's position, part position, location of the central ray and respiratory instructions. The reverse side of the card then provides a grid with space to record information on: position/projection, cm part thickness, mA, time, mAs, kVp, distance, film size, film screen speed, grid, and other details. This second edition contains an update of references, added respiration instructiuons for appropriate procedures, revised terminology and headings to conform with those in the 7th edition of "Merrill's Atlas", and streamlined and clarified central ray instructions.
