CHESS is a profound reflection of intention, embodying strategicthought, foresight, and decision-making. Each game is a dialoguebetween minds, where the clarity of intention can lead to triumphor defeat.Each move on the board is not merely a reaction to the opponent’sactions but a manifestation of the player’s intent. From the openingmoves, players establish their strategies - whether aggressive,defensive, or opportunistic—shaping the game’s trajectory.Whether in a game or in real life, Intention encompasses long-termplanning and psychological warfare. Participants must considertheir own objectives while anticipating competing responses. Thesecompeting responses are what I call ‘the problems of intention’.
