This book is a refreshing antidote to much contemporary theological literature that reasserts traditional dogmas despite their lack of credibility and/or application to the human condition. It deserves to be taken seriously, and popularized, even if its premises and/or conclusions may be rejected.
(Heythrop Journal) Radical Theology successfully lays out the theoretical footing and philosophical heritage for radical theology in the same way that historical-critical scholarship has opened up new, entirely legitimate understandings of the message and person of Jesus.
(Ethics and Early Christianity) This is a creative and original addition to the literature on radical theology. . . . Highly recommended.
