Anil Kumar Singla is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), Longowal, Sangrur, India. He obtained his B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Thapar University, Patiala, M.E. (Industrial Engineering) from Thapar University, Patiala, and Ph.D. from SLIET Longowal. His major research interests include wear, slurry and cavitation erosion, surface engineering, thermal spray and hydrophobic coatings, additive manufacturing, cryogenic treatments, and material processing and characterization. He has published 45 SCI/SCIE papers in international journals of repute. He has 11 book chapters to his credit. So far, he has guided one Ph.D. and 03 Ph.D.s are in progress. He has also supervised 21 MTech thesis. He has completed 03 consultancy projects amounting to Rs. 6.5 Lakhs. He has edited one book in CRC press titled NANOMATERIALS IN MANUFACTURING PROCESSES (ISBN:9781003154884). He has been granted 01 patent, and 02 number patents have been published. He is a reviewer of many reputed international journals.
Amandeep Singh Shahi is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering besides holding the charge of Dean (Academics) at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), Longowal, Sangrur, India. He obtained his B.Sc. (Non-medical) from Punjab University, Chandigarh, B. Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) from Punjabi University, Patiala, M. Tech. (Production Engineering) from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD). His major research interests include welding, corrosion, fatigue, materials joining and metallurgy, alloy designing, material characterization and failure analysis. He has published 28 SCI/SCIE/WOS in respected international journals and 41 conference papers. He has delivered a number of expert lectures at various universities and industries. He has already guided 24 MTech. students and 8 Ph.D. scholars and is currently supervising the research work of 3 Ph.D. scholars. He is Lifetime Member of number of professional bodies. He is the reviewer of many reputed international journals. He has visited USA, Canada and Sweden for presenting his research.
Sanjeev Katoch is currently working as General Manager at Institute for Auto Parts & Hand Tools Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He obtained his masters degree in Materials Science from Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab, India and received his Doctorate in Materials Science & Engineering from Center for Materials Science & Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. He is ASNT level-II in RT, UT, PT, MT, LT, ET; Certified Lean Management & 6 Sigma Black Belt Professional and Qualified Lead Auditor for Quality Management System ISO/IEC17025-2018 ISO-9001 and ISO 50001.His Research areas are material processing, Treatment, Machining, Mechanical and Tribological behavior of tools; Fracture; Fatigue; Materials Characterization, NDT and process optimization. He has published 10 SCI/SCIE papers in reputed international journals. He also has 9 conference papers/book chapters to his credit. He is the present Chairman of Indian standard making body Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) Sectional Committee on Hand Tools of Production; General Engineering Department PGD-34 & Member of Sectional Committee PGD-37 of Fastener and Ex Chairman; BIS, Sectional Committee Mechanical Engineering Department-29 on Sewing machine & TED-16 Transport Engineering Department on Bicycle. He has Affiliations with professional organizations like Indian Society of Non-Destructive, Tribology Society of India, Indian Institute of Metal; Materials Research Society of India & Indian Society of Vacuum.
