This publication reviews requirements regarding the key areas of interfacing and operating electrical grids with nuclear power plants and describes the challenges and potential solutions in detail. This guidance is particularly focused on assisting Member States in establishing and sustaining a reliable and resilient electrical grid in support of the safe and efficient operation of nuclear power plants and the contributions of nuclear power plants towards enhancing the reliability and resilience of the grid system.
