Prof. Abdul Ghani Olabi is the Director of the Sustainable Energy and Power Systems Research Centre at the University of Sharjah, UAE. He holds an M.Eng. and Ph.D. from Dublin City University and has worked at leading institutions across Europe. He founded the SEEP and MSSM international conferences and has acted as Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier's Comprehensive Green Materials and Encyclopedia of Smart Materials. Prof. Olabis research focuses on renewable energy and energy storage systems. His team has secured numerous patents in hydrogen production, advanced PEM fuel cells, and novel supercapacitors and batteries, contributing significantly to global sustainable energy advancements.
