He is the author of The Law of Refugee Status (1991; 2nd ed. 2014, with M. Foster) and editor of Reconceiving International Refugee Law (1997) and Human Rights and Refugee Law (2015). He is also the founding Editor of Cambridge Asylum and Migration Studies.
