The committee, with members from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and the World Health Organization (WHO) summarize data on selected flavoring agents and food contaminants that it reviewed at the meeting. All the reports at this meeting are addenda to earlier reports on the same substance. Groups of related flavoring agents are considered together, among them alicyclic ketones, secondary alcohols, and related esters; aliphatic acyclic and alicyclic terpenoid tertiary alcohols and structurally related substances; benzul derivatives; and phenol and phenol derivatives.
