Wuhong Wang is currently Full Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology, and the Director of the Joint Laboratory for Driver Behavior & Traffic Safety of Beijing Institute of Technology- Technical University of Munich. He does research in transportation engineering, mechanical engineering with key focuses on intelligent connected transportation, automated driving, green mobility behavior, and traffic safety. He previously worked at the Computer Vision Laboratory of the University of Tokyo (Japan), where he served as a JSPS Research Fellow (20022004) and a Visiting Professor (2005). From 2005 to 2007, he was affiliated with the Institute of Ergonomics at the Technical University of Munich (Germany) as a Humboldt Research Fellow. Additionally, he was a Guest Professor at Hasselt University (Belgium) in 2015, a Visiting Professor at the University of Washington (USA) in 2019, and a Guest Professor at the University of Auckland (New Zealand) in 2025.
Hanyang Zhuang received the Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2018, where he is currently an Assistant Research Professor implementing research works related to intelligent vehicles. His research focus is on self-driving system development, vehicle control, and cooperative driving systems.
Yeqiang Qian received the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2020. He is currently a Tenure Track Associate Professor with the Department of Automation, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His main research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, and machine learning and their applications in intelligent transportation systems.
Weiwei Guo received her M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Traffic Information Engineering and Control from Jilin University. She was a post doctor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology. She is currently an associate professor with the College of Electrical and Control Engineering at North China University of Technology, the deputy director of traffic behavior and safety laboratory. Her research interests include traffic safety and driving behavior, intelligent transportation systems.
Yihao Si received the B.S. degree in automobile support engineering from Jilin University in 2019, and the M.S. degree in vehicle operation engineering from Jilin University in 2022. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in the School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, he is also visiting scientist in the transportation research center at the University of Auckland. His research interests include human-vehicle interaction, driver behavior analysis and traffic safety.
Min Li is an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Qingdao University of Technology. She graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with a PH.D. degree. She has over 16 years of academic, research and teaching work experience in the transportation field. She has strong research interests in intelligent transportation system, driving behavior and intention, artificial intelligence in transportation. She is member of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China.
