Prof. S.K. Tripathi, is currently a senior professor of Physics and Department Chairperson at Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He has three decades of experience in research and teaching, and is a prominent figure in condensed matter physics. He obtained his Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics from Kanpur University. His research expertise comprises different domains of condensed matter physics, ranging from semiconducting nanocrystalline thin films, oxide materials, phase change materials, core/shell structures, to dye-sensitized solar cells.
Prof. Ranjan Kumar is working as a professor in the Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He completed his master's and doctoral degrees from the Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. His research interests include model calculations of molecular solids (fullerenes, nanotubes, and graphenes), dilute magnetic semiconductors, nanocomposites, electronic and thermoelectric properties of materials, and conventional superconductors.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from University of Delhi/National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, India. He was a visiting researcher at Florida International University, Florida, USA. His research interests focus on the synthesis of metal and metal oxide nanostructures for wastewater management, bio-medical, and charge storage applications.
Dr. Ravi Prakash Nath Tripathi is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He obtained his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, India. Thereafter, he joined the University of Alabama (UAB), Birmingham, AL, and Missouri University of Science & Technology (Missouri S&T), Rolla, MO, USA, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. His research work focused on 2D materials and light-matter interaction at the subwavelength scale in the linear and nonlinear regimes.
Dr. Ram Gopal is an assistant professor in the Department of Physics at Panjab University. Previously, he served as a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, from February 2024 to August 2024, and at the IIT Guwahati Technology Innovation and Development Foundation from August 2023 to January 2024. He obtained his Master's degree in Physics from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur in 2018. Dr. Gopal continued his academic journey, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad in 2023. His doctoral research focused on developing novel, efficient luminescent materials for various optoelectronic, forensic, and defense applications. Dr. Gopal's commitment to excellence is underscored by his 8 years of research experience, during which he has published several articles in reputable journals. His contributions span a wide range of topics within Materials Science, reflecting both the depth and breadth of his research interests. Dr. Gopal also served as an editor for a book volume focused on luminescent materials and spectroscopy and microscopy techniques related to them. He has organized several international and national conferences and workshops to benefit the scientific community.
