A recipe-style swim workout book for adults who want more from their time in the water.

The Self-Coached Swimmer’s Guide delivers structured, challenging, and creatively designed sets for seasoned lap swimmers, former competitors returning to the pool, triathletes refining technique, and recreational swimmers chasing consistency (and enjoyment!).

Each of the 120 workouts is tied to a specific goal or mindset: endurance, sprint work, recovery, technique tuning, gear days, and more. Organized into creative categories, the workouts are easy to flip through and choose based on mood, motivation, or training style. Many sets include optional tweaks so swimmers can customize based on energy level, gear, or pool time available.

No judgment. No boring laps. No mindless swimming. Just fun, effective workouts with simple structure, pacing cues, coaching insights, and the right mix of intensity and variety to keep things fresh.

For anyone who has ever wondered whether they could train solo and still swim strong, The Self-Coached Swimmer’s Guide reaches across the lane line with a big high-five and a confident yes. It’s the go-to motivational companion for swimming better, longer, and more often—on one’s own terms.
