Stem Cell-Mediated Regulation of Pyroptosis provides a comprehensive exploration of pyroptosis, a type of programmed cell death, and its relationship with stem cells and their exosomes. The book opens by outlining the basic mechanisms of pyroptosis and detailing the most current methodologies for its detection. Emphasizing the role of stem cells in tissue repair and regeneration, especially in the context of inflammatory diseases, this work bridges foundational concepts with advanced research findings. Readers are introduced to the interplay between pyroptosis and stem cells before the discussion transitions into multiple clinical applications.
Additionally, the book examines how stem cell-mediated regulation of pyroptosis impacts a variety of conditions, including cerebral and spinal injuries, cardiac injury, osteoarthritis, and cancer. It discusses emerging therapeutic strategies and the potential for targeting the pyroptosis pathway in disease treatment. The text also provides a forward-looking perspective on future research directions, offering valuable insights for professionals in cell biology, regenerative medicine, immunology, and therapeutic development.
