Arvustused

These dramatic quilting patterns are shown on solid coloured fabric. The emphasis is on the designs, the thread colour is closely matched to the fabric.

Adding texture with quilting makes un-quilted areas pop out, larger scale designs become the foreground, dense quilting becomes the background.

Many examples give two photos, the first is simpler than the second. The difference is explained, and shown clearly, with diagrams indicating the direction of the stitching.

Quilting using a grid, dividing the quilt into sections with a walking foot, before adding patterns is explained well. It is important to sketch the designs first so one looks ahead when quilting.

An excellent guide to quilting for a confident quilter. It is my Book of the Month.
