Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol is an accepted protocol transmission medium for computer-to-computer communications. This is a description of the proposed standards within Ipv6 being offered through the IPNG, the IP Next Generation working group. The book will also examine other protocols, such as DHTTP (dynamic protocol for the Web), along with new interactive applications, collaborative workgroup applications, voice integration and more. It covers client/server interaction with TCP/IP, information on security issues, including network security, firewalls, and tools to monitor. In keeping with the previous editions, the "rules" of communication and the "buzzwords" are described in simple and lay terms.
