This book details the identification and flight test technology development for the current large and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system from China. System engineering methods and technology maturity management are adopted during the research. It comprehensively elaborates on the major ground tests and flight tests of UAV systems, especially large UAV systems, organically integrating design research and development with identification flight test verification. The content includes large UAV system testing and identification process, prediction and evaluation methods in the verification and confirmation process, and large UAV system flight test technology. Finally, this book looks forward to new cognition and new concepts of domestic and foreign UAV system flight tests (design identification/finalization).
Preface.- Chapter 1 focuses on the classification management of UAV
systems and proposes classification verification principles based on
classification management.- Chapter 2 focuses on the system engineering
methods used in UAV flight test engineering and the overall planning of
flight tests.
Chapter 3 comprehensively elaborates on the basic procedures
of testing and identification, including principles, categories, processes,
stages, etc.
Yongjie Zhao is the Chief Test Engineer and Researcher of China Flight Test Research Institute, Xian, China. He has been engaged in the test and evaluation of UAVs for decades.
