Twenty-seven full papers and six shorts papers presented during the July 2006 symposium explore theoretical aspects and generalizations of Voronoi diagrams and Delaunay triangulations, and computational and implementation aspects of Voronoi methodology. The contributors propose an aspect-ration Voronoi diagram, an application of Procrustes distance to shape analysis of Delaunay simplexes, Voronoi random fields, and a Delaunay triangulation algorithm for fingerprint matching. Other topics include sphere-based computation of Delaunay diagrams on points from 4d grids, statistical geometry of real and model protein structures, and map updates in a dynamic Voronoi data structure.
