Özkan Krmz works as a full professor at English Language and Literature Department of Karabuk University, Turkey. He completed his Ph.D at Hacettepe University, English Language and Teaching Department. His interest areas include L2 teacher education, pedagogical content knowledge, practicum experience, psychology of language learning and teaching in addition to teacher psychology. Dr. Özkan Krmz became an associate professor in 2018, and full professor in 2023. Currently, he is teaching two B.A. courses including Teaching Language Skills and Research Techniques and two M.A. courses which are English for Academic Purposes and Creative Writing. Even though he publishes in a wide range of topics related to language teaching and learning or EFL teacher education, his most specific research areas include EFL teacher education and positive psychology. In addition to these, Dr. Krmz has participated numerous conferences and is highly open to collaboration. Dr. Özkan Krmz has supervised around 30 M.A. thesis up to now and is supervising four PhD dissertations. In addition to personal traits and research interests mentioned above, Dr. Krmz has edited two books published by international publishing houses. One is titled Situated Nature of EFL Teacher Psychology: Insights from Türkiye (2023) and the other is Positive Psychology Components in Language Learning and Teaching in The Turkish Context (upcoming).
