Dr Samrat Roy is currently the PhD Coordinator of St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata, India. His research interests are applied macro-economics and its empirics.Dr Saswati Chaudhuri is the Associate Professor of Economics at St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata, India. Her research focuses on urban issues, informalisation of labour, and the gender implications of social protection, and issues related to migration and health.
