Renfu Li received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of  Technology (Georgia Tech). Since 2009, he has been a professor and founding chair of School of Aerospace Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). His research interests include spacecraft dynamics and control, aircraft flight dynamics and control, flight vehicle design and engineering, UAV technology, cooperative control of multi-agent systems, etc. He is recognized as an AIAA associate fellow, ASME fellow. He has won the Industry, University and Research Innovation Award in 2016, Scientific Chinese Person of the Year 2014 and ChuTian Distinguished Professorship in 2012. He is an associate editor of AIAA Journal.



Zishun Liu obtained his B.Eng. degree in Applied Mechanics and M.Eng. degree in Solid Mechanics from Xian Jiaotong University (XJTU), in addition to earning M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in Solid Mechanics from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before his appointment as the vice president at the City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan), Professor Liu held the prestigious position of Sanqin Chair Professor in Shaanxi Province from 2012 to 2024. He was the executive director of the International Center for Applied Mechanics and Chairman of the Academic Committee of the School of Aerospace Engineering at XJTU and served as an adjunct professor at NUS.



Yao Zheng is a Cheung Kong chair professor at Zhejiang University, appointed by the Ministry of Education of China since 2001. He has been the director of Center for Engineering and Scientific Computation (2002-), the founding deputy dean of School of Aeronautics and Astronautics (2007-2013), and the vice dean of Faculty of Engineering (2014-2019), all in Zhejiang University, China, and the director of Zhejiang Institute of Turbomachinery and Propulsion Systems (2019- ), China.
