Caroline Crowe spent ten years as a national newspaper journalist and section editor before taking time out to look after her three young sons. She lives in Hampshire, UK, surrounded by their ever-growing collection of children's books. She is the author of Pirates in Pyjamas and The Fairy Dogmother, How do You Make a Rainbow? and Our Incredible Library Book. Nia Gould is a designer and illustrator from Devon, UK. She lives with her partner, children, and gang of three cats. Nia draws inspiration from art history, the natural world and her love of animals. She is the illustrator of A History of Art in 21 Cats.
