This a love letter to real life, however it shows up; an antidote to the highlight reel that is social media, a tribute to the unfinished, the unfiltered, the uncertain.

In this debut collection of poetry, stories and questionable choices, Georgie Jones, with her signature wit and warmth, explores the exquisite messiness of modern existence and makes the chaos feel, somehow, like home. She cant promise any answers, but she can make you feel a little less alone in not having them.

Muu info

A hearth warming poetry debut from poet and comedienne Georgie Jones.
Georgie Jones writes poems. It is her favourite thing to do. Although, shed like it to be known that a packet* of Frazzles and an episode** of Below Deck: Mediterranean comes an incredibly close second. A performer by nature and a poet by trade, Georgie is known for her humour and heart. She was a Roundhouse Poetry Slam finalist, before joining the Roundhouse Poetry Collective and subsequently spent a year as Roundhouse Resident Artist. Her debut spoken-word show 'Ish' was commissioned by a consortium of Midlands-based venues and generously supported by the Arts Council. It sold out its preview tour, garnering 4 and 5 star reviews and was set to sell equally well during a full UK tour in 2020, until, yknow gestures at everything. Undeterred, Georgie took her poetry to social media, where she has captivated over 160k followers, more than 6.8 million views and had her work shared by Malorie Blackman, Adrian Lester and British pop-rock band Bastille who said her poetry was 'fucking brilliant'. Sorry for swearing.
