This book gives readers foundational, step-by-step processes to improve journalistic content and help journalists adapt to today's rapidly-changing media landscape, including evolving technologies. The book establishes a writing progression incorporating narrative flow, thinking about interviewing in a multimedia package, understanding how to incorporate media assets into a story, and evaluating the quality of journalistic work. These practices will connect to the more considerable discussion of defining journalism in the world of media and its more critical connection to society as a whole. Journalists and other media professionals can use this book to practice their skills and critically examine the state of journalism.
