He was previously the launch editor of FourFourTwo Arabia, and has written for These Football Times, GQ, The National and Al Arabiya English. He also directed the football documentary 'Anwar Roma' (the Lights of Rome) revolving around the UAE's qualification for the 1990 World Cup in Italy.
