Dr. Jahangir Moini was an assistant professor at the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, Tehran University Medical School, for 9 years. He worked as the Director of Epidemiology for the Brevard County Health Department for 18 years. In addition, he worked as the Director of Science and Health for Everest University in Melbourne, FL for 15 years. Furthermore, he worked as a professor of science and health at Everest for 24 years and at Eastern Florida State College for 6 years respectively, but he is now retired. Dr. Moini has been an international author for 25 years and has written 58 books. His Anatomy & Physiology for Healthcare Professionals was translated and released in Japan and South Korea in 2020. His Complications of Diabetes Mellitus was translated into Spanish in 2023.

Dr. Katia Ferdowsi is a lecturer at the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida. She holds a medical degree from Azad University, Tehran Medical Branch, and a Master of Public Health degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in Iran, where she also completed her residency in community medicine. She is a coauthor of two books.
