Laura Bisiker is a Primary Teacher and Oracy Consultant based in Leicester City. Alongside her passion for oracy, she currently leads English and has an interest in phonics, Key Stage 1 and curriculum design. Together with a colleague, Laura proudly co-leads the Voice Leicester Project and the Oracy Sparks initiative for Leicestershire. She has worked with the national oracy charity Voice 21 as an Associate Programme Lead and has delivered oracy-focused presentations both locally and nationally. Known for her relaxed, personable style-reflected throughout this book-Laura connects deeply with teachers, inspiring practical, research-informed change. She leads a close-knit, ever-growing network of local oracy-enthused educators who share ideas and learn together. Proud to balance teaching and consultancy, Laura ensures every idea she advocates is tried and tested.
