This is a first of its kind book on the 3D printing and mechanical characterization of Poly Lactic Acid (PLA)-based Self-Reinforced Polymer Composites (SRPC). It is comprehensive and offers an insight into the effect of process parameters of a Fused Deposition Model machine on the physical and mechanical properties of a polymer composite. As a Materials Tetrahedron model the individual process parameters were studied in depth for their correlation with each measured property to understand the trends. This book is a product of a successful implementation by the authors to serve the materials and 3D manufacturing community and contribute an easy to read and practice guide on the subject. It has been slotted into the intermediate to beginner level of activities for students and hobbyists starting to use desktop machines for 3D printing.
