Kotomi Hayashi has been knitting since childhood, and has a passion for trying techniques from around the world. She began designing children's clothing after the birth of her first child. After serving as a craft book editor for a number of years, she started writing her own books on topics like openwork knitting, Scandinavian style-knitting and sock making, and she's been at it for over 20 years.
