The conference was held from December 19–20, 2024, in Chennai, India, and was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Chennai Institute of Technology. ICAAMT 2024 provided a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge, fostering collaboration and driving forward the frontiers of additive manufacturing.

Dr. Pathinettampadian Gurusamy is a distinguished academician and renowned researcher in Mechanical Engineering, with a remarkable career spanning over two decades. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, and a Master of Engineering in Production Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. Dr. Gurusamy earned his PhD in 2014 from Anna University, CEG Campus, Chennai. With two years of industrial experience and 26-year teaching career, Dr. Gurusamy has become a pivotal figure in Mechanical Engineering education and research. His research interests include composite materials, foundry technology, nanomaterials, surface technology & advanced materials processing, carbon nanotubes, and polymer nano clay composites. His prolific contributions to the academic community include 87 publications in International Journals and numerous participations in International Conferences across India and abroad. Dr. Gurusamys enduring dedication to education, research, and innovation continues to inspire his students and peers, making him a respected and influential figure in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

Prof. Murugesan Devarajan Vijayakumar is currently working as Professor/Mechanical in Chennai Institute of Technology. He has more than 24 years of teaching and industrial experience. He received his B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Madras University and Master of Engineering in CAD in the year 2011 from Government Engineering College Salem. He is a Member in SAE and Indian cryogenic council. Moreover, he has published around 30 Journal articles in Scopus and SCIE and presented more than 40 papers in International Conferences.

Prof. Sathiyamoorthi Ramalingam is currently working as Professor/Mechanical in Chennai Institute of Technology, Chennai. He received his UG degree (Mechanical) from St.Peters Engineering College, University of Madras in the year 1999 and his Masters degree (Thermal Power) from Annamalai University in the year 2004. He received his PhD degree with a specialization in Internal Combustion Engines from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2017. He has 21 years of professional teaching experience in various Engineering colleges. He has published more than 30 International Journals and presented more than 35 research papers in International Conferences in India and Malaysia.
