This book presents a useful schematic overview of anatomy and pathology of the temporal bone, showcasing detailed imaging obtained using state-of-the-art CT and MR. It is a comprehensive collection of over 300 high-resolution, multiplanar images, organized into 13 chapters based on different pathologies. The images provide a thorough visual understanding of the complex structures of the temporal bone and related disorders, making it an essential resource for radiologists specializing in otoneuroradiology. It serves both as an in-depth study tool and an easy-to-consult reference for radiologists during their reporting process.

Giorgio Conte is an associate Professor at the University of Milan. Since 2023, he has been the Head of the Interventional Neuroradiology Unit at Fondazione IRCCS Ca' Granda - Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico. His neuroradiology research primarily focuses on otological disorders, including sudden hearing loss, endolymphatic hydrops, and inner ear malformations. He has published several papers on the use of cone-beam CT and advanced magnetic resonance techniques for the study of ear pathology. He was also an invited speaker at several audiological and otological congresses and courses.

Fabio Triulzi is a full Professor of Neuroradiology at the University of Milan. Since 2011, he has been Chief of the Neuroradiology Unit at Fondazione IRCCS Ca' Granda - Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico. He is a pioneer in pediatric neuroradiology, and his department performs up to 1000 exams per year for the study of ear pathology in children and adults.

Elisa Scola has worked as a Neuroradiologist at the Neuroradiology Unit, Fondazione IRCCS Ca' Granda - Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico since 2012. She completed her Radiology Board at the University Vita e San Raffaele in 2011 and obtained the ESNR European Diploma of Neuroradiology in 2015. She is a referring physician for diagnostic examinations in the otoradiological field and she is an expert on pediatric neuroradiology.
