This book acts as a guide to biological control in plant pathology covering bioagents, biopesticides, and integration strategies for researchers and agricultural professionals.

This book covers biological control in plant pathology from foundational concepts to commercial applications. It examines biological interactions, environmental factors, pathogen-antagonist relationships, and bioagent production systems, and also includes:

  • Comprehensive coverage of biological control foundations and principles in plant pathology
  • Detailed analysis of biological interactions including competition, mycoparasitism, and antibiosis
  • Systematic examination of factors governing biocontrol success in different environments
  • In-depth study of pathogen-antagonist relationships and bioagent compatibility
  • Practical guidance on commercial production and delivery systems for biocontrol agents

The book also includes integration strategies for modern farming, biopesticide applications, and regulatory standards for researchers, plant pathologists, and agricultural professionals.

This title has been co-published with Elite Publishing House. Taylor & Francis does not sell or distribute the print edition in India.

Arvustused

This book is a well-conceived and timely contribution to plant protection science. The subject of biological control has gained renewed importance in the era of sustainable agriculture, and this volume succeeds in presenting the concept in a simple yet scholarly manner. What stands out is the books effort to integrate scientific theory with field applications, thereby making it a practical guide for those engaged in crop protection.
