Dr. Mani Alikhani, DMD, MSc, Ph.D., is a Professor and Dean of CTOR Academy, and faculty at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and The Forsyth Institute (Boston).
Dr. Cristina Teixeira, DMD, MSc, Ph.D., is Professor and Executive Dean of CTOR Academy, and the former Chair of the Department of Orthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry (New York).
As collaborators, their research focus on craniofacial skeletal form, growth and adaptation, tooth movement, and bone and cartilage response to mechanical stimulation. They are co-founders of CTOR (orthodonticscientist.org), a state-of-the-art research and education center dedicated to translating scientific advances in Dentofacial Orthopedics and Orthodontics into clinical applications to improve patient care. Their research work, supported by NIH and different international research foundations, produced many patented innovations in clinical orthodontics.
