A great book for anyone wishing to know more about mosaic. It literally covers everything and has lot of inspiring techniques and projects to try. It's a new book too, only came out in August and I have to say I am impressed with it! I have learned something every time I have had a read through. It is easy to follow and well laid out. I think it will be a book that will be on my shelves for a long time as it covers everything for beginners and experienced mosaic artists a like. Bonnie Fitzgerald is a professional mosaic artist and educator. She is the founder and owner of Maverick Mosaics, one of a handful of mosaic studios in the United States dedicated exclusively to teaching the art of mosaics. Maverick Mosaics also fabricates architectural mosaics and designs and creates commissioned mosaic artwork for interior designers, landscape architects, and private clients. Bonnie currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Society of American Mosaic Artists Board of Trustees. She is the author of Compendium of Mosaic Techniques (Search Press, 2012).
