It is with great pleasure to present the proceedings of the International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Mathematical Applications (ICCIMA 2023), held on 21-22 December 2023, at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panipat. This conference brought scholars, researchers, professionals, and intellectuals together from diverse fields to exchange ideas, share insights, and foster collaborations in Optimization, Computational Intelligence and Mathematical Applications. The ICCIMA 2023 served as a platform for contributors to demonstrate their latest findings, discuss emerging trends, and explore innovations to the problems that different disciplines are currently experiencing. The conference’s scope and depth of themes reflect our community’s rich diversity of interests and levels of competence.

Dr. Devendra Prasad is currently working as professor and Head in the Department of CSE(AIML) with Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), Samalkha Panipat, Haryana. He received the B. Tech, M.Tech, and a Ph.D. degree in CSE from Kumaon University Nainital, Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra, Haryana and MM(DU), Mullana, Ambala, Haryana respectively. Dr. Prasad has supervised 8 PhD Thesis and 28 MTech Thesis. He has published more than 60 research papers in different reputed international journals and conferences. He has published 22 National/International Design/Utility patents out of which 5 patents are granted. Dr. Prasad has written one Book and 4 Book Chapters with International Publishers. He has received Best paper Award from ICNGC2S-10), NITTTR Chandigarh, India. Dr. Prasad is a Member of IEEE, ACM, ACSE, and CSTA. His research interests are Blockchain Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Learning.

Dr. S. C. Gupta is working as Head of CSE departments in PIET. During his 25 years of journey as teacher, he excelled in academics along with successful execution of administrative responsibilities, holding key positions at various prestigious institutes. As an active researcher he promoted young and fresh minds to envoke them in research. He guided numbers of M. Tech/ M.phil/MCA research scholars. He has published more than 50 national; international research articles/papers. He organized and cordinated various national/international events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, STCs in collaboration with MHRD Govt. of India. He is working as Nodal Coordinator for Virtual Labs programs of IIT, Delhi in PIET. He Contributed in B. Tech./M. Tech. curriculum design/revision program of KUK. His area of interest are software reusability, component based software development and reenginnering. He is an active member of various professional societies.

Dr. Anju Bhandari Gandhi has completed her B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering and is currently working as a Professor Incharge-R&D at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panipat, Haryana, India. She has 18 years of experience and published 65 research papers in reputed and Scopus indexed journals. She worked as convener of number of technical events like international conferences, seminars, FDPs, workshops and trainings. She has received number of awards and grants for research and innovation, establishing AICTE IDEA Lab. Her research area includes Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning and Data Science.

Dr. Stuti Mehla is working as an associate Professor in CSE departments in PIET. She has completed her B.tech, M.tech and P.hd degree in CSE from Kurukshetra university and Maharishi Markandeshwar University Mullana respectively in 2010,2012 and 2022. She is GATE Qualified and has 10 years of experience and published more than 30 research articles in reputed international journals and presented research papers in national and international conference. She is active member of IEEE and ACM. Her research interest is related to artificial intelligence, machine learning,data science and recommendation system.

Dr. Upasana Lakhina is working as an Assistant Professor in Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology. She has achieved her B.tech and M.tech from kurukshetra university, Kurukshetra in 2014 and 2016 (Gold Medallist) and her Ph.D from University Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia ( QS World Ranking 304). She is GATE qualified, and NET exempted and has done research collaboration with different researchers from Malaysia, France, Denmark and Vietnam. She is an active IEEE member and organized various conference and has a teaching experience of 7 years. She has also served as Judge in international Robotic Competition and also received best reviewer award. She started her research journey in 2015 as a scholar and published more than 20 articles in Journals and conferences. Her research area includes machine learning, optimization, microgrids, renewable energy and cloud computing.
