Dr. Shah Fahad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agronomy at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He earned his Ph.D. in Agronomy from Huazhong Agriculture University, China, in 2015, followed by a postdoctoral research fellowship at the same institution. His impressive publication record includes over 610 peer-reviewed papers, comprising more than 500 research articles and 100 review articles. His research focuses on climate change, plant physiology and breeding, nutrition, and stress tolerance. He has also authored 120 book chapters for major publishers like Springer, Wiley-Blackwell, and Elsevier, and has edited 23 books. Dr. Fahad is a recipient of the Young Rice International Scientist award (2014), the Distinguished Scholar award (2015), Top Young Investigator Award winner (KP Science, Technology & Innovation Award 2019), Dr. Shah Jahan Gold medal award (2021) in Agriculture (Pakistan Academy of Sciences), COMSTECH Young Researcher Award (2021).
