He is a senior member of the Association for Computing Machinery, USA, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, USA. He has appeared in the list of the top 2% of scientists in the world, as per studies conducted by Stanford University, USA, consecutively from 2019 to 2023.Professor Sayantani Roy Choudhury's research areas include labor economics, women's studies, and migration. She secured her MPhil degree with a specialization in Gender and Urban Economics, from Calcutta University, India. She was awarded a PhD in Economics from Calcutta University in 2011. She has publications in reputed international and Indian journals, book chapters in books published by internationally renowned publishing houses and one book to her credit.
