Telma Robertson is Chief Disciplinarian at an all-woman monastery in the small town of Amazonia, in rural Missouri. When a nun at the monastery reports sexually deviant behavior by two young female residents - Thora and Thea, Telma is sent by Prioress Tallulah to investigate. Thora and Thea are a couple of sexually vigorous young lesbian women who like to compete sexually and physically and Telma is enamored by the sexual antics of the two competitive women. But Sister Theodora, a straight laced conservative virgin nun, who secretly longs for Telma, tries to block all their sexual reveries.
