Paul Finch (Author) Paul Finch is a former cop and journalist. He first cut his literary teeth penning episodes of the TV crime drama The Bill, and has written extensively in the field of children's animation. However, he is probably best known for his work in fantasy and horror. His first collection, Aftershocks, won the British Fantasy Award in 2002, while he won the award again in 2007 for his novella, Kid. Later in 2007, he won the International Horror Guild Award for The Old North Road. He has written two Doctor Who audio dramas for Big Finish - Leviathan and Sentinels of the New Dawn. Paul lives in Lancashire, with his wife and his children.

Jonathan Morris (Author) Jonathan Morris is a long-standing contributor toDoctor Who Magazine and has written five Doctor Who novels and over 70 audio dramas for Big Finish Productions. He has also authored documentaries for the Doctor Who DVD range and contributed to The Scientific Secrets of Doctor Who and The Shakespeare Notebooks. Outside of Doctor Who, he's written for various TV comedy shows and has had numerous sitcom scripts optioned and piloted. This is his first monster book.

George Mann (Author) George Mann is a Sunday Times bestselling novelist, comics writer and screenwriter. Hes the creator of the Wychwood supernatural mystery series as well as the popular Newbury & Hobbes and Tales of the Ghost. Hes written comics, novels and audio dramas for properties such as Star Wars, Doctor Who, Sherlock Holmes, Judge Dredd, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dragon Age.



Mann lives near Grantham, England, with his wife, children and two noisy dogs. He loves mythology and folklore, Kate Bush and chocolate. He is constantly surrounded by tottering piles of comics and books.

Nicholas Briggs (Reader) Nicholas Briggs has been a prolific Doctor Who contributor since 1999, when he began work on the Big Finish Doctor Who audio dramas, for which he has written and directed extensively and is now Executive Producer. Nick is also an actor, and since Doctor Whos return to television in 2005, hes worked on set with all four of the new Doctors as the voice of the Daleks (also providing the voice of the Cybermen, and other aliens). Having spent most of his life in London, Nick now lives in Dorset with his wife and son, where he hopes life will be more peaceful... But, so far, London keeps dragging him back.
