This book gathers the proceedings of the 2nd IFToMM International Symposium on Emerging Fields in Mechanism and Machine Science (EFIMMS), which was held in Monastir, Tunisia, on April 1517, 2026, under the patronage of the IFToMM and jointly supported by the Cross Disciplinary Groups IFToMM Faculty Group (YFG)  IFToMM Womens Group (WG) and IFToMM Graduate Student Group (GGG). It presents the latest research and industrial applications in the areas of mechanism science, robotics, and dynamics. The contributions cover such topics as Mechanism theory and kinematics, parallel robots, Bio-inspired and compliant systems, Vibration and materials and Simulation, advanced and IA based control. Written by young researchers and engineers and selected by means of a rigorous international peer-review process, the papers highlight numerous exciting ideas that spur novel research directions and foster multidisciplinary collaborations.
