Zaman F. Kala is a lecturer and accredited mediator in the School of Law and Policing at the University of Central Lancashire, where he teaches on the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Prior to embarking upon a career in academia, Zaman worked as a fee earner at a leading firm of solicitors, specialising in insurance litigation and dispute resolution.

Ian Bowden is a practising solicitor advocate with many years of experience working in legal practice. He is also a senior teaching fellow at Liverpool John Moores University. Ian has experience across a wide range of practice areas including civil litigation, employment law, wills and probate, and medical negligence. He also trains students in the key skills of advocacy, interviewing, advising, and legal research.
