Dr Wright has been a nurse for 43 years and has worked in advanced practice for 41 years. Her nursing leadership includes service to The International Association for Human Caring, The Anne Boykin Institute, The Appalachian American Alliance for Nurse Practitioners, and the Clemson University Centers for Research on Health Disparities.
