At university, Jo replaced art with architecture, and her drawing became progressively more technical until one happy afternoon she rediscovered the joy of creating characters. She hasnt stopped since and now is a self-styled archistrator (architect + illustrator). She illustrated Excitable Edgar, based on the John Lewis Christmas ad, and wrote and illustrated Where Does My Poo Go? for DK Children.
