Sample questions for the IEEE Computer Society's Certified Software Development Professional examination comprise this self-study guide. A page is dedicated to each multiple choice question, while the next provides the correct answer with an explanation and, for some, a refutation of the wrong answers. Like the exam, the book covers business practices and economics (including ethics), software requirements, design, construction, testing, maintenance, configuration, management, tools and methods, and quality control. References are incorporated in the text. There is no index. Annotation ©2006 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
