This book gathers the proceedings of the INPUT2025 Conference on Innovation in Urban and Regional Planning. The 13th International Conference INPUT was held in Pavia, Italy, on September 810, 2025, and brought together international scholars in the fields of planning, civil engineering and architecture, ecology, and social science, to strengthen the knowledge on urban scenarios in the new technological era and to enhance the implementation and replication of practical solutions in different contexts. The book provides a state-of-the-art overview of modeling and computational approaches to innovation in urban and regional planning, aligned with sustainability goals. Through a transdisciplinary and boundary-crossing perspective, it addresses the complexity of contemporary socio-ecological systems and promotes a practice-oriented, problem-solving approach. Computational tools, technologies, data, mathematical models, and decision-support tools are explored to develop innovative spatial planning modeling methodologies.
