This book deals with one of the most modern research areas: the study of human speech behavior, including the biology of the human brain, mathematics, linguistics and modern artificial intelligence technologies, specifically the theory and practice regarding artificial neural networks and microelectronics of neurochips in its various guises. The book also considers the main areas related to speech behavior; issues of implementing speech technologies in terms of speech behavior modeling, including purposeful speech behavior: automatic speech recognition, text-to-speech synthesis, video recognition, implementation of dialogue behavior; and the issues of integrating individual modal representations (video, sensorimotor and language) into a multimodal structure. The current state of microelectronics suitable for the implementation of hardware modeling systems for speech behavior is also addressed.
